The French ministry of National Education via the French Embassy in Abu Dhabi, have awarded Fatima Muhairy, a UAE national, and Christelle Margossian the highest grades in the Emirates in the B2 and A1 level examinations, respectively, of the (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française).

DELF is the official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DELF is a that guarantees young learners the flexibility in becoming high achievers. The DELF examinations are recognized globally and the diploma received is valid for the rest of your child’s life.

AIS has specifically adapted the DELF program to suit the needs of our children. We offer a preparatory program leading to the DELF Prim (primary) for our young learners as well as DELF Junior for our middle and high school children.

Our highly skilled and fluent French Department, under the guidance of Mrs. Aida Haddad, can help you choose the diploma level that best suits your child’s needs.

French Ambassador Mr. Ludovic Pouille

More than 220 million people speak French and is, along with English, the only language spoken on all five continents. It is the second most widely learned language and the sixth most widely spoken language in the world.

In a fully integrated and globalized world speaking French opens up opportunities for higher education at some of France’s best-known universities as well as international career opportunities as an official language of the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO, NATO, and the International Olympic Committee.
