Fostering creativity, leadership, and personal growth

All students at AIS have the opportunity to participate in co- and extra-curricular activities that encourage development of creative talent, giving back to society, learning new art forms, and taking part in group sports. We are proud to offer a diverse range of programs with dedicated spaces at our campus that cater to the varied interests of our students.

We believe that extra-curricular activities are an integral part of our student’s overall education. They provide opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community building. We encourage all of our students to explore the extra-curricular programs offered at our school and find activities that align with their interests and passions.

Sports & Varsities:

We have a range of sports teams that our students can join, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, and more. Our teams compete against other schools in the region and have won many championships over the years.

Our school offers a number of varsity level sports teams for our students to participate in. These teams include basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, and more. Our athletes train hard and compete at a high level against other schools in our region. Being part of a varsity team requires dedication, teamwork, and perseverance, and we are proud of the successes our teams have achieved over the years.

Theatrical Productions:

Our school’s theatrical productions program is a dynamic and exciting part of our extra- curricular activities. Students who participate in theatrical productions have the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their skills in acting, set design, and stage management.

Our productions are well-known for their high quality, and our students have won numerous awards for their performances at regional and national competitions. Students have the opportunity to audition for roles, work behind the scenes, and collaborate with their peers to create memorable productions. Our productions are open to the public, and we welcome the community to come and experience the talent and creativity of our students.

Visual Arts:

Our visual arts program allows students to explore their creativity through a variety of media, including drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture. Our art teachers provide instruction and guidance to help students develop their artistic skills, and our students have the opportunity to showcase their work in exhibitions and shows throughout the year.

Sustainability:

At our school, we believe in fostering an environmentally conscious and sustainable community. Our sustainability program includes a range of initiatives such as recycling, reducing waste, and energy conservation. Students have the opportunity to participate in sustainability clubs and take part in projects that promote sustainable practices within our school and local community.

Life Skills:

We recognize that learning goes beyond academics, which is why we offer life skills programs to our students. These programs aim to develop practical skills that will be useful to our students in their everyday lives. Some examples of life skills programs we offer include cooking classes, financial literacy workshops, and first aid training.

Science and Engineering:

Our school values science and technology education, and offers a range of science and engineering programs for students who are interested in these fields. Students can join our science club or engineering club, where they will have the opportunity to explore their interests through hands-on projects and experiments. We also participate in science and engineering competitions at the regional and national level, and our students have won numerous awards for their innovative projects.

Robotics:

Our robotics program is a popular choice among students who have an interest in engineering and technology. Our robotics team competes in regional and national competitions, and has a track record of success. Students who participate in robotics learn valuable skills such as programming, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Community Service:

We believe in the importance of giving back to our community, and encourage our students to get involved in community service projects. Our community service program includes a range of initiatives such as volunteering at local shelters, organizing food drives, and cleaning up parks. Through community service, our students develop empathy, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility towards their community.
