On Emirati Women’s Day, we celebrate its groundbreaking achievements in the fields of literature, science and other fields. On this occasion, the first researcher in oral history, Mrs. Maryam Al-Mazroui, presented a valuable workshop titled “The evolution of women’s role and empowerment strategies in the Emirati society”.
During the workshop, she highlighted the Emirati Women’s Bus March, and the overwhelming support she received from good leadership, enabling her to be an effective partner in the comprehensive renaissance the country is witnessing. Her role today has become instrumental in bringing about positive change in all spheres without exception, confirming that the Emirati woman will remain a model of continuous creativity and giving. On Emirati Women’s Day, we honor the remarkable achievements of women in literature, science, and many other fields. To mark the occasion, Ms. Maryam Al Mazrouei, Senior Researcher in Oral History, delivered an inspiring workshop titled “The Evolution of Women’s Role and Strategies for Empowerment in Emirati Society. ”
In her session, she highlighted the impactful journey of Emirati women and the strong support they have received from the nation’s wise leadership, which has enabled them to play an active role in the country’s comprehensive development. Today, Emirati women stand at the heart of positive change across all sectors, serving as a true model of creativity, dedication, and continuous contribution.

Over 30 universities from around the world participated in our Annual University Fair, engaging students and parents in meaningful conversations about future career pathways. We sincerely thank our university partners and parent community for their continued support in helping our students make informed decisions about their futures.

The Fitness and Wellbeing Week was a wonderful opportunity for our students to remember the importance of eating healthy and taking movement breaks. Our Kappa Gamma team students led engaging workshops on hand hygiene, smart snacking, personal hygiene, staying hydrated, and managing screen time. We are grateful to all our AIS friends for contributing to the success of this campaign and helping us promote the wellbeing of our students.

Students at AIS had a memorable experience on UAE Civil Aviation Day, highlighted by a special visit from the Etihad cabin crew. They had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights into the aviation industry. The celebration also featured a variety of engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Our gratitude goes to the AIS Parents Committee for their incredible support and innovative ideas in preparing for this event.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Abu Dhabi Police Departments for their continuous support and commitment to our students. Their visits to our school play a vital role in educating students about the responsibilities of the police in maintaining safety and security in our community. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, they help students understand the importance of respecting the law, following safety rules, and becoming responsible citizens. Their efforts greatly contribute to building awareness and promoting a culture of safety and respect across all grade levels.

In a faithful atmosphere imbued with joy and elation, Abu Dhabi International School commemorated the birth of the Holy Prophet 1447 AH, where our students presented a variety of paragraphs of representative scenes, chants and poems that introduce the biography of the Prophet, peace be upon him, highlighting the greatness of his message and noble morals, as well as shedding light on aspects of the scientific miracle in his purified Sunna. The celebration came to affirm the school’s diligence in instilling great Islamic values in the souls of its children and strengthening their connection with the Prophet’s biography, peace be upon him, to be a guide and light to illuminate their path. In a spiritual and joyful atmosphere, we celebrated the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1447 AH. Our students presented a variety of performances, including plays, nasheeds, and poems that highlighted the life of the Prophet, his noble character, and the greatness of his message. The program also shed light on aspects of scientific facts in his Sunnah.
This celebration reflects the school’s commitment to fostering Islamic values in its students and strengthening their connection to the Prophet’s life, so that he remains a guiding light and role model for them.

Our varsity team took part in an exclusive clinic led by NBA coaches. It was an unforgettable experience—training side by side with world-class professionals, sharpening their skills, and learning from the best!

Happy Teacher’s Day! We celebrated the dedication of our teachers with Mrs. Jihan Nasr, the first teacher and founder of the AIS family, who reminded us that the heart of the school lies in the commitment and passion of our educators. Our deepest gratitude to all our teachers for the difference they make in the lives of our children.

As part of their curriculum, our Prep students participated in a range of engaging activities centered around community helpers this week. The week culminated in a showcase event where students stepped into real-life scenarios, presenting the roles of the community helpers of their choice. It was an enriching experience, bringing their learning to life.
